Nine Men’s Morris in short
Each player places nine stones on the board. Three in a row is a mill – close one and you take an opposing stone. Once every stone is placed, you move along the lines. Down to two stones, or unable to move at all, and you have lost. Also known as Mills, Merrills, Merels, Morris or Mühle.

Does Master Mill cost anything?
The game is free to download and free to play in full — the championship included. There is no advertising. If you enjoy it, you can support development with a voluntary contribution; it is never required.
Does Master Mill work without an internet connection?
Yes. The game runs fully offline and without an account — the championship and its fourteen match days as well. There is no sign-up and no server keeping notes.
Can two people play on one device?
Yes. Besides the computer at four levels there is a two-player mode on the same device — taking turns at the board, the way it should be.
How do I learn Nine Men’s Morris?
The app includes an interactive seven-step tutorial — from your first mill to the running mill. It is offered the first time you open the game and can be reopened from the main menu at any time.
How does the championship work?
Four leagues of eight, fourteen match days home and away. A win is three points, a draw one. The top two of a league go up and the bottom two go down — you included. Three placement games at the start decide where you begin.
How strong is the computer?
Four levels: Easy, Medium, Hard and Master. The highest challenges experienced players. In the championship the strength follows the rival you happen to be facing.
